Draft a reply with Copilot

Get a suggested answer built from your support content and past conversations.

Written by Heather Worthington

Copilot answers questions using the sources you turn on, and shows you where each part of the answer came from. You need to check the answer before you send it, so treat it as a first draft rather than a finished reply.

Ask Copilot a question

To generate an answer for the conversation you have open, work from the Copilot panel.

  1. Click Copilot next to Details, then enter your question.

  2. Click the filter icon, then turn on the answer sources you want Copilot to use.

  3. Hover over the number icons in the answer to identify each source.

  4. Click the triple dots to change the tone or the language of the answer.

  5. Click Add to composer, then edit the reply before you send it.

⚠️ Important: Check every Copilot answer against the product before you send it. Copilot summarises the content it can reach, so an error or an out-of-date step in that content will appear in your reply.

🤓 Tip: Click the triple dots to save a strong Copilot answer as a macro. The next teammate who needs it can then use it directly.

Copilot draws only on the sources you enable in the filter icon.
